With the launch of the new Monster 1100 Ducati started a new era in frame construction and design among the Monster series. The until that time, well known, steel made tubular frame was replaced by a mix of an die-cast alloy rear frame and an steel made tubular front frame. With this concept, not only the Monster 1100, but also the 1100 Evo, the 696 and the 796 came on the market. The success of the Monster 1100 was clearly the combination of the reliable and strong oil- and aircooled 1100ccm twocylindre engine with the compact frame and geometry of a classy beginners bike. From the start, Carbonparts, even supplied by the factory, helped to reduce weight and underline the sporty charakter of the bike. Who, if not Ilmberger, with it´s decades of experience among Ducati bikes, could present such a wide range of high-quality carbonparts for the whole Monster family. Parts, designed to maintain the value of the bike, such as the rear huggers. As well as parts to prevent damages, like the swingarm-cover or the cam-belt covers. Or the backseat cover, that get´s the bike a one-seat unit look! All parts come in the well known Ilmberger Carbonparts high-end quality.
