Octo British Grand Prix, Free Practice 1

Now we start with the OCTO GP of England at Silverstone

Stefan had more than a week time for regeneration to treat his right Scaphoid. This weekend should be problem-free.

The plan for this first free practice is to test two different swingarms, a long one and a short one. This weekend is important, the bike to unterstand with old and rubbish tyres. This is the key for succes.

Stefan stay long on P15, but he slipped at the end up on P18. The reason for this is pretty simple, Baz and Bautista who have overtaken him, rode the final stint with new soft tyres. Bautista rode one secand faster then before. Stefan means he can also go faster in the afternoon with a new set of soft tyres.

The temperatures on the ground are typically British, they have 16° air temperature and only 24 ° asphalt. This are complete other conditions as last GP in Brno, which makes not easier the setup work due with bumpy track.

Roland Resch ensures his AlpeAdria and austrian championship title

In this year’s racing season Roland Resch already ensures the AlpeAdria Superbike and the austrian championship SBK 1000 title.

It is getting exciting on the last racing weekend at Slovakiaring on September 12th – 13th, 2015 as the internationalen BMW Race-Trophy takes place. It is comprised of 19 championships that stage 318 races in 23 countries on six continents.

Current status: Roland Resch placing third behind Jordan Szoke (CA) and Markus Reiterberger (DE).

Roland Resch is focused and tries to turn the tables. We keep our fingers crossed!

bwin GRAND PRIX ČESKÉ REPUBLIKY, Race

The nightly rain has significantly cooled line and temperatures, it was approximately 8° cooler than the two previous days of training.

Stefan thinks, him the cooler conditions and his Aprilia would come forward. Furthermore, the track would have more grip, the track was not so greasy.

Problem is still the major difference between new and used tires.

The tyre choice for the race was clearly still on Saturday and so Stefan competed in the race.
