The third free practice session was even cooler than the first by yesterday morning. The air temperature was exactly 17.4 degrees.

Stefan and his Aprilia have porblem with this low temperatures.

This morning he suffered not only below the temperatures, but also technical problems. Bradl lost a lot of time in the box, since the clutch has a strike and that number 1 bike, which was prepared with the longer wheelbase.

Stefan could go only 3 laps, because the gear with new clutch components not switch back as well. Apparently, the new devices were flawed. Bautista had installed the new clutch in one bike, but complained of similar problems.

A rider have to spend his time on track, not in the pit. Anyway, after a long meeting decited to change the new swingarm, which has proved in Misano but in Aragon not at all against the old, proven swing arm.

Stefan has been switch back to position 23, so it will be difficult to qualify similar like in Brno (14th) later in Q1.

But about technical problems is no one is safe, not quite at a so brandnew bike. The Aprilia is so far not so mature and so something can happen unfortunately.
