The new BMW M1000RR sets new standards. Especially in focus - the aerodynamics.
Through many tests in the wind tunnel and the involvement of experts from Formula 1, BMW has once again set the bar a little higher. The new
wings bring more downforce, while the curved shape also takes into account the leaning angle of the bike in midcorner. The new
front fender is multifunctional and the
wheel covers are a complete novelty on the road.
But also the fairing is completely new. Although significantly larger, the air resistance is lower. Turbulences are better avoided and the rider enjoys even better wind protection behind the
front fairing, especially at high speeds. All this together enables an increase in top speed of 8 km/h, while the wings press the front wheel at the top with over 22kg on the ground.
