That was good for Stefan, after yesterday, the traction control was set to passive, because there knew which screw must turn for today. This in turn was also implemented and Stefan improved his time from yesterday to immediately to 4/10.
This would not be enough but to move directly into the Q2, as Stefan had again problems with traction control, which was now set for slow curves too aggressive. Stefan lost importend time again!
This resulted in many slide to follow, which brought Stefan a little from the concept. Stefan’s sober analysis was that they must be simply faster, the bike needs to be improved in the fine tuning. So, they must try to improve the “turning” in the fast corners, allowing a better setting. Also the “running wide” is problematic which means that the machine moves to wide in the exit of the courners.
It wait much work for rider and team. This was enough only to place 17, however, it was not a bad training noted Stefan. But the Yamaha suffer on this track, which is only a small consolation.
