Motul TT Assen

Due to its own racing activities, there is a summary of the 8th race of the MotoGP season.
Stefan Bradl traveled with his famous 8 place in Barcelona top motivated to Assen, the legendary cult race in Holland. The race traditionally held on Saturday, which however repeatedly creates confusion among the viewers. Therefore, the race be laid in the future on the usual Sunday.
The MotoGP heroes began on Thursday with the free practice sessions. Stefan got along well, and finished the first free training on 14th position, just 1.1 seconds behind the fastest Rossi. Stefan’s team found a good solution for the electronic problems from the first six Grand Prix.
The electronic basic setup works now so well that they can deal with the important work in detail such as for example the geometry in the training or test out the different tyres.
The second practice session was also satisfactory like the morning, Stefan went 8/10 faster than in FP1 and working single-mindedly on the race Setup. Again has been experimenting with the length of the swingarm, which was also in Barcelona of the key to success. Stefan favoured although the shorter variant, but they bring more chatter. So it was on Thursday in FP2 on a compromise consisting of a medium-length swingarm. Was also experimented with the pivot. They were so enough work. Stefan grab in the end a 15th place he was not far away from the factory riders.
Friday began with the important FP3, in which a rider has the last chance to qualify directly for the Q2. Here Stefan affording 4/10 on postion 10, must be reached for it, but the result was an 13 rank. Stefanmanaged a 1.34.1  in the slipstream of Cal Crutchlow, with this time, he could again reduce its backlog on the fastest rider. The distance shrank to just one second, 4.5 km long and the easier open electronics quite a mature performance. Stefan left the two factory bike riders Hernandez and Redding behind itself, as well as all open competitors.

The teams used the fourth free practice as usual to the optimization of the race setup. Stefan joined 15th, fastest this time Marc Marquez which interestingly has changed back to a chassis by 2014. While studying the lap times of all top drivers, it could be noted that Lorenzo had the most consistent speed. Still, above all, Rossi showed in top shape.
Stefan Qualy began excellent, so he set the fastest time, but then was Aleix Espargaró and Danilo Petrucci faster then he.  To move in the Q2, Stefan missend by 2/10 seconds, but it‘s very difficult to beat them against factory rider. After all, 13th postion still was the best place in grid this year. According to confident, Stefan looked forward to race day and flirted with another victory in the open class.
The race was not as hoped, Stefan lost two places at the start and dabbled on the 15th rank lying Hernandez used to fight. In an attempt to shorten the distance of 8/10, Stefan flew off with a highside.
Unfortunately, Stefan is violated here, he broke in his right hand the scaphoid. Stefan is now operates in Augsburg.
Valentino Rossi won the race in front of Marc Marquez. After a finished attac from Marquez Rossi had to go through the gravel and Marquez would be almost crashed. Lorenzo completed the podium in third position.
Recorded also no points for Hector Barbera, the current leader who had to open-class competition, he was shot down by Jack Miller.

It remains questionable whether Stefan at the Sachsenring can start in 10 days.
