The Honda CBR1000RR-R model update known as the SC82 has made the bike significantly faster. No one else in Germany knows the bike better than the team around Jens Holzhauer from HRP, who successfully competes in the IDM with Alex Polita and Luca Grünwald with the CBR1000RR-R. Together we have developed the racing parts to get the best out of the Honda.
An important point - to further optimize aerodynamics. The front fairing is larger than the original and conceals the driver even better at high speeds. Overall air resistance is reduced and the driver is less distracted. Honda also goes its own way with the winglets. They are integrated into the side parts of the fairing in several stages and deliver comparable downforce values ​​as the MotoGP model in 2018.
In addition to the aerodynamics and countless details, the assembly has also been greatly improved. Overall, fewer but larger parts such as the one-piece rear end are installed with as many screws as necessary and as few screws as possible. The carbon parts protect the underlying components in difficult situations and also enable top times in the pits.
